The focus of ACHSHAV is the establishment of an exciting and viable plan for the future of the Jewish community in the UK.

ACHSHAV is an initiative led by HOPE , abrand consultancy for organizations that make a social impact , which has extensive experience working for Jewish and Israeli causes.

These include the FED, Hadassah, IsraAID,JCC,Jewish Care,Jewish Continuity,Jewish Women’s Aid,JNF,LANGDON,Norwood,Saatchi Synagogue,UJIA and WJR.

For many of us, our involvement in the Jewish communuity began at the university Jewish society.Somewhere heavily involved in the compaign for Soviet Jews.Other have since volunteered for their synagogue or favourite charity, and one hase been a member of the Board of Deputies.

There are also a few of us who really want to be engaged but haven’t found anything appealing yet.

Together, we share an ambition to create a more exciting and viable future for our community.Time isn’t on our side though, which is why we believe we need to act now, or in Hebrew,achshav.
